Induced currents

What is it?

The magnetic field built by a coil fed with alternating current produces, in the workpiece to be examined, the induced currents. These currents affect the impedance value of the coil that has generated them. The presence of any discontinuity, change the intensity and the path of the induced currents and thus the impedance of the circuit, whose variation is indicative of possible defects.
